Lessons in Love: Seven Principles for Singles is a research-based workshop grounded in decades of relationship research from The Gottman Institute, developed by Dr. John Gottman and Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman.
This one-day virtual workshop is designed to help singles understand relationship patterns, build emotional connection, and develop practical skills for healthier, more intentional relationships.
Participants will learn proven tools to:
Strengthen friendship, fondness, and admiration
Enhance romance and intimacy
Manage conflict constructively
Address both solvable and perpetual problems
Create shared meaning in relationships
Maintain healthy relationship patterns over time
Improve dating skills and decision-making
The workshop includes brief lectures, individual reflection exercises, and optional group discussion. Participants are not required to share personal issues unless they choose to do so.
This workshop is appropriate for:
Singles and divorced individuals
Adults ages 18+
Individuals who wish to strengthen a current relationship by attending independently
This workshop is not recommended for individuals who are:
In non-monogamous relationships
Experiencing active addictions
Managing serious or unmanaged mental health conditions

If you must cancel prior to three weeks before the class date, a full refund minus a $75 processing fee will be given. For cancellations thereafter, no refunds will be provided.
